In-Country Manager

About the role

The In‑Country Manager is the senior leader responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the DST office in Islamabad, overseeing performance, quality, AI tooling adoption and team engagement across five specialist functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own on‑time delivery of all DST work items, drive daily operational rhythm, and ensure high quality through QC metrics and error management.
• Lead and develop team leads, manage recruitment, onboarding, retention and succession planning for the Islamabad office.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to increase automation, champion an AI‑first mindset and implement modern management tooling.
• Provide weekly performance read‑outs to the Chief Customer Officer and manage DST KPIs, risk reporting and compliance.
• Represent the DST team locally, handling facilities, compliance, vendor relationships and employee experience.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience managing managers/team leads in a multi‑team operational site (30+ people) within a delivery, BPO or shared‑services environment.
• Proven ability to run a business through trackers, KPIs and stand‑ups rather than hero effort.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to diagnose issues and drive actions.
• Excellent written and spoken English and comfortable communicating with senior overseas leadership.
• Background in bookkeeping, accounting, audit or financial‑services BPO, with exposure to VAT, bank reconciliation or management accounts.
