Independent Contract Attorney – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced attorney to work on a contract basis, remotely, helping to train next‑generation AI systems. You will apply your legal expertise to simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, ensuring AI‑generated suggestions are accurate, risk‑aware, and legally sound.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining to evaluate AI outputs.
• Review AI‑generated contract drafts, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and provide corrective feedback.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Ensure high‑quality legal input that enhances the reliability of AI‑driven contract drafting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating contracts in a legal or corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess legal risks and implications.
• Familiarity with SaaS contracts and technology transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
