Industrial Automation Engineer (Advisory)

About the role

IOTIZE is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer to provide advisory support for its predictive maintenance product line. This part‑time, remote‑friendly role involves periodic reviews of product direction, sensor specifications, and deployment approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Review sensor placement, thresholds, and failure modes for real‑world automated environments.
• Assess integration expectations with existing SCADA, PLC, and control systems.
• Identify gaps between the current product roadmap (vibration, temperature, multi‑sensor monitoring) and operational needs.
• Provide feedback on product positioning and credibility with automation and plant engineering audiences.

Required profile

• Solid background in industrial automation, controls, or instrumentation, preferably with SCADA/PLC exposure.
• Hands‑on experience in manufacturing, process, or energy plant environments.
• Comfortable delivering direct, practical feedback rather than purely theoretical input.
• Based in Pakistan preferred, but not mandatory.
