Information Security Manager – International Banking

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Information Security professional to lead security governance and regulatory compliance across the Bank's international operations, primarily focusing on the UAE. The role acts as the central liaison between Head Office and overseas locations, ensuring alignment with corporate security standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee Information Security and Cybersecurity requirements across international locations.
• Ensure compliance with Head Office policies, standards, frameworks, and control requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for overseas regulatory matters, including engagement with the Central Bank of the UAE.
• Manage regulatory inspections, assessments, submissions, and remediation activities.
• Oversee risk assessments, control effectiveness reviews, and remediation of security findings.
• Coordinate response to cybersecurity incidents affecting international operations and provide escalation and reporting.
• Support data protection and privacy compliance across jurisdictions.
• Provide consolidated reporting to senior management on risks, compliance, incidents, and remediation progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, Security Governance or Regulatory Compliance, preferably in banking.
• Proven experience managing security and regulatory requirements across multiple countries.
• Strong exposure to regulatory inspections, cybersecurity assessments, audits and remediation programs.
• UAE/GCC banking and regulatory experience is highly advantageous.
