Information Technology Manager

About the role

The Information Technology Manager will lead the planning, implementation and maintenance of all IT infrastructure supporting Shahtaj Sugar Mills' manufacturing, office and administrative functions. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior management and is responsible for ensuring system reliability, security and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain networks, servers, endpoints, backup solutions and cloud services across multiple sites.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls, access management and incident‑response processes.
• Manage ERP, production monitoring tools and integrations with manufacturing systems, including SCADA, DCS and PLC interfaces.
• Lead the IT support team, set service level agreements, assign tasks and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity plans in line with ISO 27001 and NIST standards.
• Oversee vendor relationships, software licensing, hardware/software procurement and IT budgeting.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analyses and lead incident‑response activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNA or Microsoft security certifications are highly beneficial.
• Proven experience in IT management within a manufacturing or process‑industry environment.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
