Infrastructure Financial Controller – International Projects (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Financial Controller to support international projects on a fully remote basis. You will work closely with project managers, finance teams, and global clients to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and cost optimisation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review project proposals and original budgets, compare them with current revisions, and investigate any changes.
• Analyse staff rates in proposals versus actual project rates and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare cost reports, monitor subcontract budgets, and advise on overruns.
• Support project controls to minimise variances and advise on effort and expenditure misallocations.
• Maintain project charges within proposal targets and identify overruns.
• Prepare and finalise client invoices with supporting documentation such as progress reports and tracking sheets.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary diploma, college degree or BSc in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business or Project Administration.
• 3–4 years of experience in project controls, cost control or financial administration.
• Strong understanding of engineering business environments and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
• Knowledge of PMBOK concepts and ability to read and manipulate schedules.
