Instore Manager

About the role

Unilever is hiring a full-time Instore Manager in Karachi, reporting to the Account Key Account Manager. The Instore Manager is the front-line leader who manages customer and trade for a designated account, ensuring effective and efficient distribution and customer operations while delivering sales and KPIs. The role suits someone who wants to deepen their understanding of sales and help drive change through Unilever's growth and digital transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the business toward its ambition for underlying volume and sales growth.
• Improve competitive visibility in stores.
• Coordinate operational plans and executions with distributors and customers, and negotiate joint business planning.
• Use financial acumen to assess customer profitability and gross margin.
• Lead and develop a team of FMMs, build the team and develop talent.
• Own the business KPIs and redefine processes after execution analysis with strong analytical skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-4 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG industry is preferred.
• Active presence on the street and in the market.
• Strong communication, negotiation and execution skills, with strategic thinking and up-to-date competition insight.
• Inclusive leadership style, able to coach and motivate a team while delivering personal results.
