Instructor – Training & Freelancing Programs

About the role

Upwork is seeking a full‑time Instructor to join its on‑site team in Rawalpindi. You will design and deliver training programs that equip learners with marketable freelance skills and practical guidance for success on the Upwork platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and learning materials tailored to various skill levels.
• Facilitate interactive classroom sessions and provide one‑on‑one coaching.
• Assess learner progress through assignments, evaluations, and feedback collection.
• Maintain accurate training records and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align courses with platform updates and industry trends.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging classroom instruction.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with freelancing platforms, preferably Upwork, or remote work environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, IT, Communications, or a related field.
• Prior experience as an instructor, trainer, or educator in vocational or professional development programs.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Rawalpindi and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic digital tools such as office productivity software, online collaboration platforms, and learning management systems.
