Interior Designer and Visual Merchandiser

About the role

RENAISSANCE, a furniture manufacturer and retailer in Pakistan founded in 2010, is hiring a full-time, on-site Interior Designer and Visual Merchandiser based in Lahore. The role covers interior concepts for residential and commercial spaces, including layout planning, mood boards and material selection aligned with the brand's aesthetic, as well as furniture and accessory placement and store displays.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior concepts for residential and commercial spaces, including layout planning, mood boards and material selection.
• Design furniture and accessory placements and create visually compelling store displays.
• Ensure cohesive styling across showrooms and maintain showroom standards to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams and prepare presentations and drawings.
• Coordinate FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment) selections.
• Carry out site visits and supervise installations.
• Keep up with trends in interior design and visual merchandising.

Required profile

• A relevant degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in furniture, retail or showroom design is preferred.
• Strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Interior design and space planning.
• Knowledge of architecture and construction drawings.
• FF&E selection, including materials, finishes and accessories.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit is beneficial.
• Familiarity with graphic tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
