Interior Designer – Residential Projects

About the role

Diamond Home is looking for a talented, client‑focused Interior Designer to join its Emaar showroom in Karachi. You will lead complete residential interior projects, turning client requirements into functional and aesthetically appealing spaces while integrating Diamond Home furniture.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and consult with walk‑in clients, referrals and leads to understand design requirements, budget and lifestyle.
• Create space plans, furniture layouts, mood boards and interior design concepts for residential projects.
• Prepare 2D drawings, working layouts and 3D visualisations for client presentations.
• Recommend furniture, materials, colours and décor to deliver full home interior concepts.
• Prepare quotations, design proposals, BOQs and room‑wise recommendations.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, design assessments and installation coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Maintain client records, quotations, follow‑ups and project progress, aiming for high conversion rates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the design and project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in residential interior design, preferably handling complete home projects.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, furniture layouts, material selection and interior styling.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client relationship management skills.
• Portfolio showcasing complete residential interior projects is highly preferred.
