Internal Audit Manager

About the role

Polani Textiles is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead and coordinate internal audit activities across financial, operational, and compliance domains. This full‑time, on‑site role in Karachi will ensure that internal controls are robust, aligned with company policies, and meet regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on internal audits covering finance, operations, and compliance.
• Review accounting records, financial statements, and related documentation.
• Assess risk and control frameworks, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to address audit findings and monitor remediation plans.
• Prepare clear audit documentation, present results to senior management, and support governance and risk‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to evaluate processes and control gaps.
• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including financial statement analysis.
• Proven experience designing, evaluating, and enhancing internal controls.
• Hands‑on experience conducting full‑cycle financial audits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field; professional certifications (CA, ACCA, CIA) are a plus.
• Prior internal or external audit experience in manufacturing or textile environments preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to senior management.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.
