International Trade Manager & Data Analytics Lead

About the role

We are seeking an International Trade Manager & Data Analytics Lead to drive our growing trade operations in Lahore. The role combines market research, data analysis and policy monitoring to optimise trade performance in agriculture‑related markets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analyse international trade data to identify opportunities and risks.
• Monitor policy and regulatory developments affecting agriculture and food‑security trade.
• Provide strategic insights and evidence‑based recommendations to senior management and government stakeholders.
• Collaborate with international partners to develop trade strategies and support decision‑making.
• Prepare policy papers, scenario analyses and other analytical reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Relations, International Finance or International Business.
• Minimum two years of experience in data analytics, food security, agriculture trade, agri‑research or related policy work.
• Experience working with government agencies on trade, agriculture or tax‑tariff regulations is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern international relations, law, finance and trade paradigms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern research tools for large data sets.
• At least two published academic papers in international political economy or trade.
• Strong command of AI research tools and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Hands‑on experience with MS Office, STRATA, ERP and other data‑analysis software.
• Excellent written communication for policy and analytical papers.
