Investment Funds Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Investment Funds Attorney to join a leading global financial services firm on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing expert legal support for a portfolio of investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise fund documentation such as offering memoranda, limited partnership agreements, side letters, and subscription agreements.
• Advise fund managers on structuring, regulatory compliance, and investor relations matters.
• Collaborate with compliance teams, external counsel, and operational staff to resolve legal and operational challenges.
• Conduct due diligence on fund investments and evaluate associated legal risks.
• Stay current with evolving regulations affecting private equity and investment funds.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active membership in a U.S. state bar.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in investment funds, private equity, or related legal practice.
• Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex legal agreements.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of fund formation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
