IT Developer Intern (Remote)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing print‑on‑demand e‑commerce company that sells across Amazon, Etsy and eBay. We are looking for a self‑driven IT Developer Intern to join our remote technical team for a six‑month paid internship.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts and APIs that synchronize product listings, inventory and order data across major marketplaces.
• Use Docker to create, run and manage development and deployment environments for internal services.
• Leverage AI tools and large‑language‑model APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) to build automation workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build, optimise and maintain containerised applications and custom print‑order software.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Available to commit to a six‑month internship.
• Strong self‑motivation, time‑management and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one web development or scripting language such as Python, JavaScript/Node.js or PHP.
• Familiarity with Docker concepts, including building containers and writing Dockerfiles.
• Experience or strong interest in using AI tools and APIs (OpenAI API, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTML5/CSS and web protocols.
• Basic ability to write SQL queries and manage database data.
