IT Operations Associate

About the role

EdgeEdge Services & Solutions is seeking an IT Operations Associate to manage day‑to‑day performance, reliability and security of its IT systems. The role ensures uptime, optimises performance and provides hands‑on technical support across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain IT systems, servers, VPNs and network infrastructure for optimal performance and availability.
• Manage user accounts, access controls and permissions across applications, systems and devices.
• Perform regular maintenance, updates and backups to ensure data integrity and system resilience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data‑protection policies and implement endpoint and network security protocols.
• Support onboarding/off‑boarding processes, including device setup and access provisioning.
• Document IT processes, asset inventory and incident logs.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain IT service contracts.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster‑recovery planning and testing.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in IT workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration or network management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac server environments, cloud services (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud) and networking protocols.
• Experience with ITSM tools, endpoint management and security frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
• High accountability, discretion and attention to detail handling sensitive data and systems.
