About the role
OMNI ACADEMY & CONSULTING is looking for a motivated Junior ASP.NET Programmer to join its software development team in Rawalpindi. The role suits candidates with practical ASP.NET development experience who want to grow their technical skills while working on real-world projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET and C#
- Assist in testing, debugging and deploying applications
- Write and optimise SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions and views
- Collaborate with senior developers on software development projects
- Maintain and enhance existing applications
- Develop front-end functionality using jQuery and AJAX
- Follow SDLC standards and coding best practices
- Contribute to software documentation and continuous improvements
Required profile
- BS in Computer Science, B.E. in Software Engineering or BCS
- 1-2 years of hands-on ASP.NET development experience
- Experience with Visual Studio and SQL Server
- Good understanding of SQL concepts
- Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of AI is an added advantage
