Junior Business Development Executive – US Trucking

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to support a US‑based trucking and freight operation. The role focuses on generating new business, onboarding brokers and shippers, and expanding the freight portfolio while working closely with the dispatch and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential brokers, shippers, and freight clients in the US market.
• Make outbound calls and send emails to generate leads and new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with brokers and freight partners.
• Negotiate freight contracts, rates, and service agreements.
• Onboard new clients and ensure a smooth handover to the dispatch team.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects and keep CRM records up to date.
• Meet weekly and monthly targets for calls, leads, and conversions.
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations to ensure client satisfaction.
• Research US freight market trends, lanes, and competitor activity.
• Represent the company professionally in all client‑facing communications.

Required profile

• 1–12 months of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
• Prior exposure to US trucking, freight, or logistics is a strong advantage.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections.
• Ability to work US business hours (night shift Pakistan time).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with load‑board platforms such as DAT and Truckstop.
• Experience using Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms.
• Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline and client management.
