Junior Criminal Defence Lawyer (Remote – Full Time Freelancer)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Criminal Defence Lawyer to join our UK‑based criminal defence firm on a full‑time freelance basis. Working remotely from Pakistan, you will combine legal expertise with digital‑marketing efforts to create high‑quality, easy‑to‑understand legal content for a wide audience.

Key responsibilities

• Review and fact‑check legal content for accuracy, compliance and clarity.
• Research UK criminal law, legislation, sentencing guidelines and recent case law.
• Create engaging articles, blogs, social media posts and video scripts.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to simplify complex legal topics.
• Validate AI‑generated legal material before publication.
• Suggest new content ideas based on trending legal questions and legislative changes.
• Prepare FAQs, legal guides, case studies and educational resources.
• Contact satisfied clients for reviews and testimonials while maintaining professionalism.
• Support online reputation management and conduct competitor research.
• Assist the legal team with research and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent law degree.
• Strong interest in UK criminal defence law.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Outstanding legal research and analytical abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to explain legal concepts in clear, simple English.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
