Key responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing of water, food, environmental samples, swabs and raw materials.
• Ensure timely completion of testing activities, accurate record keeping and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and traceability of customer samples and test results.
• Support laboratory accreditation requirements (ISO 17025) and quality objectives.
• Participate in proficiency testing and inter‑lab comparisons.
• Comply with BV HSE policies, report hazards and incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Specialty in Food Testing.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Microbiology.
• Training in GLP and basic knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025.
• Fresh graduate or up to 1 year experience in testing.

Required skills

• Microbiological testing of food and water.
• Media preparation and waste disposal.
• Accurate record keeping and worksheet/report generation.
• Operation of standard laboratory equipment.
• Understanding of ISO 17025 compliance.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Participation in proficiency testing.
• Attention to detail and good laboratory practices.
