Key Account Manager – Insurance (Karachi)

About the role

A Key Account Manager at TPL Insurance is responsible for managing key institutional clients, overseeing claims, policy renewals, and delivering tailored insurance solutions. The role requires strong coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage claims for institutional clients, coordinating submissions, providing updates, and facilitating payment processing.
• Facilitate issuance of performance bonds, PPRs, acknowledgements and confirmations, ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place.
• Handle client servicing and quotations, managing renewals, preparing quotes, addressing queries and coordinating with brokers.
• Oversee motor and non‑motor insurance portfolios, including fire and miscellaneous lines, ensuring timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate client records and MIS, keeping policy, claim and account information up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of client requirements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in institutional sales or client servicing within the insurance sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of insurance and health‑claims processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities with clients and internal teams.
• Detail‑oriented with capacity to manage multiple portfolios simultaneously.
