Laboratory Technician – Lubricant Testing & Quality Control

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Laboratory Technician to support our lubricating oil manufacturing operations in Karachi. The role focuses on lubricant testing, quality control, and maintaining laboratory standards in line with ISO and GLP requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and blending of lubricants.
• Perform routine testing of raw materials, in‑process samples and finished products.
• Conduct quality control inspections during production runs.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports and documentation.
• Calibrate, service and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and laboratory procedures.
• Monitor product quality, report deviations and support corrective actions.
• Participate in product development trials and maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience in the lubricating oil or petroleum industry (preferred).
• Knowledge of lubricant testing methods and laboratory instruments.
• Basic understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
