Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support a global leader in the energy and commercial real‑estate sectors. The position is contract‑based and focuses on drafting, reviewing, and managing transactional documents while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare commercial real‑estate and energy contracts, lease agreements, and related transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real‑estate and energy law matters, including regulatory compliance and due‑diligence.
• Assist in managing transactional documentation, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence for current and future transactions.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant, or similar role, preferably in commercial real‑estate or energy sectors.
• Strong attention to detail in document management and compliance tracking.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research databases such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
• Ability to draft and review contracts, lease agreements, and other transactional documents.
