Lead Audit – Textile Industry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Auditor with a strong background in the textile industry to drive the execution of our Master Audit Plan. The role involves overseeing audit planning, execution, reporting, and developing the audit team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the master audit plan focused on textile operations, ensuring timely administration and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify high‑risk areas, and allocate audit resources effectively.
• Lead audits using approved checklists, best practices, and regulatory requirements specific to the textile sector.
• Review audit reports for accuracy and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Engage stakeholders through progress meetings and develop action plans addressing textile‑industry challenges.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory frameworks relevant to textile manufacturing and exports.
• Provide guidance and training to audit staff, enhancing their expertise in textile industry audits.

Required profile

• CA (part‑qualified) or ACCA/ACMA qualified with a BSc in Accounting and Finance.
• 3‑5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance within the textile industry.

Required skills

• Extensive experience in textile sector audits.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, financial reporting, and risk assessment specific to textiles.
• Expertise in internal controls, compliance, and regulatory frameworks related to textile manufacturing and exports.
