Legal Executive – Legal Affairs

About the role

Cybernet is looking for a proactive Legal Executive to join its Legal Affairs department at the Head Office in Karachi. You will support the company’s legal operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide sound legal advice to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet agreements, MOUs, addendums and other legal documents, and issue legal opinions as needed.
• Examine contracts, proposals and correspondence to verify compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide legal advisory services after reviewing inquiry reports, charge sheets, show‑cause notices, court orders and related documents.
• Review pleadings and other court documents before filing, maintain case status updates and coordinate with external counsel.
• Monitor legal and statutory developments relevant to the telecommunications industry.

Required profile

• LLB from a recognized institution.
• 1–3 years of experience in legal affairs, preferably in telecom or corporate sectors.
• Strong understanding of legal frameworks, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical and communication abilities with the capacity to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
