About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Expert to work remotely on a part‑time basis, supporting a leading technology company that operates micro‑tasking and freelance platforms. You will help ensure that the platform’s policies and operations comply with local and international regulations while advising on dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and update terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to data privacy, labor laws, cross‑border transactions, and intellectual property.
• Provide guidance on dispute resolution mechanisms and respond to platform‑related legal inquiries.
• Monitor evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms and advise on necessary policy adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
