About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Expert to join a leading technology company on a part‑time, remote basis. The role focuses on ensuring that micro‑tasking and freelance platforms comply with evolving legal standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
• Assess intellectual property concerns and mitigate related disputes.
• Provide legal support for user dispute resolution and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor changes in laws affecting gig‑economy platforms and update internal guidelines accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws in multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to convey complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
