About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Legal Expert to support a leading technology company that operates micro‑tasking and freelance platforms. The role is fully remote and focuses on ensuring the platform’s policies and operations comply with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
• Assess intellectual‑property issues and help mitigate related disputes.
• Provide legal support for user disputes and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor evolving laws affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
