About the role
We are seeking a part‑time Legal Expert to support a global technology leader in the gig‑economy space. The role is fully remote and focuses on ensuring that micro‑tasking and freelance platforms comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Review, draft and update terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
- Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor standards, and cross‑border transactions.
- Assess intellectual‑property issues and help mitigate disputes.
- Provide guidance on dispute‑resolution mechanisms and respond to platform‑related legal inquiries.
- Monitor evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend policy adjustments.
Required profile
- Proven experience reviewing and drafting contracts for digital platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
- Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in a legal context.
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
