Legal Expert – Remote Part‑Time (Microtasking Platforms)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Legal Expert to support a leading technology company in shaping compliant micro‑tasking and freelance platforms. This part‑time position involves advising on policy, regulatory, and dispute‑resolution matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and update terms of service, privacy policies and user agreements to ensure legal compliance.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations and cross‑border transactions.
• Provide guidance on intellectual‑property issues and support dispute‑resolution processes.
• Respond to platform‑related legal inquiries and support the handling of user disputes.
• Monitor evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms and advise on necessary policy adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven experience reviewing and drafting contracts for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws and regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical abilities and capacity to translate complex legal concepts for non‑legal stakeholders.
