About the role

We are seeking a remote Legal Expert to support a leading technology client operating micro‑tasking and freelance platforms. This part‑time position involves ensuring platform policies comply with local and international regulations, advising on legal risks, and helping resolve user disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property issues and dispute resolution mechanisms.
• Support the handling of user disputes and platform‑related legal inquiries.
• Stay current with evolving laws affecting gig‑economy platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to convey complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
