About the role

We are seeking a remote Legal Specialist on a contractor basis to support a leading technology client. The role focuses on applying legal expertise to the development of next‑generation AI systems, ensuring contracts and regulatory matters align with business goals while mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to optimize outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis, providing actionable insights for litigation and dispute resolution.
• Assess regulatory compliance and support due diligence for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional AI teams to provide real‑world legal input and identify risk mitigation strategies.
• Design and implement process improvements that enhance business outcomes using legal domain expertise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review, negotiation, and analysis with strong knowledge of contract law.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities, capable of delivering clear recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing documentation and presenting to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, focusing on results and risk management.
• Domain knowledge in finance or technology, including familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks.
