Legal Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Specialist to work remotely for a global leader in software development and IT services. The specialist will ensure that contracts, policies and other legal documents comply with applicable laws and support the company’s operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Review contracts, agreements and other legal documents to identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear, actionable legal advice to internal stakeholders on contractual and regulatory matters.
• Draft, revise and maintain legal documents such as terms of service, privacy policies and disclaimers.
• Assess legal implications of business decisions and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and operations teams to address legal concerns throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review, drafting and compliance assessment.
• Strong knowledge of data protection laws, intellectual property, corporate governance and relevant industry regulations.
• Ability to interpret legal terminology and translate it into practical guidance for non‑legal audiences.
• Excellent analytical reasoning and attention to detail.
