Linux System Administrator (RHEL/Ansible)

About the role

The Infrastructure & Platforms Engineer will manage enterprise Linux environments, focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, and Ansible automation. The role ensures availability, security, performance, and lifecycle management across production, non‑production, and disaster‑recovery platforms while supporting related virtualization, storage, backup, and networking technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support RHEL environments, handling installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, hardening, and performance tuning.
• Manage the Linux lifecycle with Red Hat Satellite, including host registration, content views, activation keys, and errata.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and templates for provisioning, configuration management, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux OS, networking, filesystem, and performance issues, including HA/cluster environments.
• Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi, SAN/NAS storage, and backup solutions such as Commvault or Veeam.
• Participate in infrastructure migrations, DR planning, capacity planning, and platform upgrade projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise Linux administration experience, preferably with RHEL 7/8/9.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Willingness to provide on‑call and after‑hours support.
