Linux Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize our Linux‑based infrastructure across multiple locations. The role involves hands‑on installation, configuration, hardening, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Linux servers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, Rocky, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Perform provisioning, patching, upgrades and configuration management using Ansible or similar tools.
• Implement security hardening, manage users, groups, sudo, SSH and system services.
• Monitor system health, resource utilization and performance; analyze logs and metrics.
• Automate routine tasks with Bash, Shell scripting and Python.
• Manage packages, repositories, updates and dependencies.
• Implement backup, recovery and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, DevOps and Application teams.
• Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis and preventive maintenance.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of Linux administration experience.
• Strong understanding of Linux architecture, file systems, LVM and permissions.
• Experience with security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS and NTP.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced production environment.
