Maintenance Lead – Regional Operations (Karachi)

About the role

The Maintenance Lead will oversee operational maintenance delivery across the region, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards, managing supplier performance, and supporting the Customer Value Proposition. The role requires a strong focus on safety, cost control, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Validate HSSE delivery for at least 70% of working time and manage supplier performance.
• Lead supplier accreditation and re‑accreditation in partnership with the HSSE team.
• Administer the Permit to Work (PTW) system, providing training and ensuring supplier qualifications.
• Conduct asset condition surveys of service stations and prepare operational performance reports.
• Monitor annual planning cycles, track spend versus budget, and adjust forecasts as needed.
• Verify invoices, assess equipment repair/replacement needs, and recommend cost‑effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks on completed maintenance work and ensure asset data is regularly updated.
• Respond to emergency call‑outs and coordinate ‘make‑safe’ actions.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Contractor to minimise site disruption and update Maximo with equipment data.
• Develop and monitor procurement strategies with the Supply Chain Manager, managing supplier relationships and contingency plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance with strong HSSE management.
• Experience maintaining fuel station sites; petroleum industry knowledge is a plus.
