Management Accountant (Qualified)

About the role

We are looking for a fully qualified Management Accountant to join our client’s finance team in Pakistan. You will be the bridge between financial data and operational strategy, delivering accurate reporting, owning the month‑end close and providing commercial insight to drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and conduct detailed variance analysis.
• Own the month‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and financial models; act as a business partner to operational and commercial teams.
• Manage all Pakistan tax requirements (WHT, sales tax, corporate income tax) and submit filings via the FBR portal.
• Maintain strong financial controls, monitor tax legislation changes and identify reporting improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in management accounting within an industry‑based finance function.
• Solid practical knowledge of Pakistan tax compliance and FBR portal processes.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (financial modeling and data analysis).
• Experience with accounting systems such as Xero or Sage.
• Financial modeling and budgeting expertise.
• Tax compliance and reporting for Pakistan.
