Manager Accounts and Taxation

About the role

We are seeking a Manager – Accounts & Taxation to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while ensuring accurate records and timely statutory filings.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual closings, and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, prepare and file tax returns, and handle tax audits and assessments.
• Monitor changes in tax laws, identify tax efficiencies and maintain a compliance calendar.

Required profile

• CA Inter or ACCA qualification.
• 4–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and taxation.
• Strong understanding of Pakistan’s tax framework and accounting standards.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate with stakeholders and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems.
• Hands‑on experience with tax filing portals, including FBR IRIS.
