Manager Budgeting & Planning

About the role

The Manager Budgeting & Planning will be the central point for generation budgeting, forecasting, asset and inventory governance, and performance monitoring. The role supports business decisions through financial and operational analysis, cost optimisation and compliance management across the generation portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage generation budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis and financial performance monitoring, preparing periodic and ad‑hoc reports and dashboards.
• Oversee fixed‑asset lifecycle, inventory optimisation and project financial closure, ensuring accuracy and compliance of related records.
• Act as the focal point for regulatory data requests, audit coordination and internal‑control enhancements, liaising with NEPRA and auditors.
• Lead process‑improvement and automation initiatives, collaborating with plant operations, finance, supply chain, HR and regulatory affairs.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent professional qualification; MBA (Finance, Accounting or Business Administration) preferred.
• 5‑7 years of post‑qualification experience in financial planning, performance management, asset management or regulatory affairs, preferably in power, energy or utilities.
• Proven stakeholder and team management experience.
