Manager Security Architecture & Assurance

About the role

The Manager, Security Architecture & Assurance leads security architecture reviews and assurance across technology projects, platforms and strategic initiatives. This senior role ensures security risks are identified early and that all technology investments comply with the organisation's security policies, standards and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security architecture reviews for projects, programmes and technology initiatives, providing formal approval and sign‑off.
• Oversee security risk assessments across cloud, data‑centre, network, application and digital environments, and evaluate mitigation plans.
• Manage and mentor a team of security architects and assurance professionals, defining objectives and building capability in cloud and application security.
• Participate in Architecture Review Boards, Design Authorities and Change Advisory Boards to ensure consistent application of security controls and design standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in information security, technology architecture or cyber security.
• 5+ years leading security architecture, assurance or technology risk functions, with a track record of managing large‑scale project reviews.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud security in AWS, Azure and GCP environments.
• Strong understanding of AI, network, infrastructure, data, application and identity security.
