Manager – Technology & Cyber Risk Advisory

About the role

The Manager – Technology & Cyber Risk Advisory will lead comprehensive IT audit and advisory projects for clients of Yousuf Adil Chartered Accountants, based in the Karachi office. This role combines technical expertise with client‑facing responsibilities to enhance risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end IT audit and advisory engagements, from planning through reporting and client communication.
• Assess IT general controls, application controls, cybersecurity measures, cloud environments and emerging technologies.
• Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen client risk management and internal controls.
• Support regulatory and compliance projects such as ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, NIST and COBIT implementations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development activities.
• Manage, coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals for new ventures or collaborations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT audit, advisory or cyber security, preferably with a Big 4 or consulting background.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are highly preferred.
