Manager – Volunteer & Community Engagement

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Manager to lead enterprise‑wide volunteer and community engagement initiatives. The role will design, execute, sustain and scale volunteer programmes while collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and scaling of volunteer programmes across the organization.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan and execute community initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with NGOs, community groups, corporate partners and individual volunteers.
• Organise volunteer induction, assign volunteers to teams and establish communication and collaboration mechanisms.
• Develop training resources, support materials and engagement opportunities for volunteers.
• Create and manage recognition and motivation strategies to improve volunteer experience and retention.
• Provide facilitation and support to volunteers to achieve programme and fundraising objectives.
• Monitor programme effectiveness, produce reports and recommend improvements.
• Deliver operational and administrative support including logistics, coordination and reporting.
• Work with volunteer leadership and operations teams to meet timelines and the annual calendar.
• Develop strategies for a sustainable volunteer pipeline and long‑term community engagement.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in volunteer management, community engagement, relationship management, fundraising, donor relations or sales.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for surveys, feedback collection, reporting and engagement activities.
