Manufacturing Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the Gelatin solution preparation and hard gelatin capsule production line. The role combines hands‑on supervision of operators with documentation responsibilities, reporting directly to the Head of Production.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control operators in the gelatin melting, colour preparation, material distribution and capsule‑manufacturing areas, ensuring compliance with safety and GMP requirements.
• Oversee capsule‑manufacturing machine operation and maintain a 70 % focus on operator supervision and 30 % on production documentation.
• Implement manufacturing area plans, monitor output, and ensure adherence to batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Track production performance and drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science; Pharm D preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supervising manufacturing operations in pharmaceuticals or FMCG/food industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP principles and ability to work with BMRs, SOPs and standard work.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with floor staff.
