About the role
A proactive and detail-oriented Material Coordinator is sought to manage inventory levels, ensure materials are available for production and manage external stakeholder relations. The position is based in Karachi (Maripur).
Key responsibilities
- Determine the materials required and generate purchase orders.
- Manage project expenses by liaising with finance, the field team and others.
- Ensure a consistent and adequate supply of materials needed for production.
- Coordinate with other departments on goals, timelines and supplier payments.
- Monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
- Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products.
- Liaise with internal customers, suppliers and distributors.
- Handle inventory issues, schedule changes and cancellations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or graduation.
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Excel proficiency is a must.
