Mathematics Design Manager – Secondary Curriculum

About the role

Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of the secondary mathematics curriculum, ensuring alignment with Federal Board requirements and international best practices. Drive the creation of high‑quality instructional resources, assessments and technology‑enabled learning supports.

Key responsibilities

• Design and update curriculum frameworks, learning progressions, scope and sequence, and subject expectations for secondary mathematics.
• Develop instructional resources, teacher guides, lesson plans, assessments and digital learning tools that promote conceptual understanding and higher‑order thinking.
• Ensure curriculum coherence from primary through secondary grades and integrate inquiry‑based, real‑world and technology‑enhanced learning approaches.
• Create assessment frameworks and exemplar items to measure understanding, fluency and application.
• Use performance data and evaluation findings to identify gaps and continuously improve curriculum quality.
• Collaborate with functional teams for effective implementation and support teacher orientation and professional development.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in mathematics curriculum design, teaching, academic leadership or educational program development.
• Strong knowledge of Federal Board, National Curriculum of Pakistan and secondary mathematics requirements.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in secondary mathematics content and pedagogy.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design principles, learning progressions and assessment for learning.
• Proficiency in integrating educational technology into mathematics teaching and learning.
• Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills for curriculum improvement.
