Mechanical Draftsman – MEP (Shop & Isometric Drawings)

About the role

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a self‑motivated Mechanical Draftsman to join its on‑site multidisciplinary engineering team in Karachi. The role focuses on producing accurate shop and isometric drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review shop drawings and isometric drawings for mechanical systems.
• Develop detailed layouts for condensate piping, compressed air piping, fire‑fighting, plumbing, and HVAC installations.
• Coordinate with engineers and specialists to ensure design compliance and constructability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date drawing standards and incorporate the latest drafting software advancements.
• Support project documentation and assist in on‑site issue resolution.

Required profile

• 7 to 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in the MEP sector.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality shop and isometric drawings.
• Strong understanding of condensate, compressed air, fire‑fighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
