Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join Akber Ali & Sons in Karachi Division. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on the design, analysis and optimisation of machines and equipment for our diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse and optimise mechanical systems and equipment.
• Manage projects from concept through to completion, coordinating with cross‑functional teams.
• Conduct research and development activities to drive innovation.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge and experience in Mechanical Engineering and machine design.
• Proficiency with Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools.
• Project management skills with ability to handle timelines and resources.
• Experience in R&D supporting continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with industry standards, equipment maintenance and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Karachi Division.
