Member of Technical Staff - Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal research efforts for a global software development leader. This remote, full‑time position blends deep legal expertise with technical problem‑solving to ensure our products meet evolving regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Develop frameworks and tools that automate legal research and compliance workflows.
• Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to embed legal insights into solution architecture.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology initiatives.
• Produce technical documentation and compliance guidelines for development teams.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience in legal research methodologies and regulatory analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
