Member of Technical Staff - Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff specialized in Legal Research to join a global software development leader. This remote, full‑time position focuses on analysing complex legal and regulatory frameworks and turning those insights into technical solutions that support product development and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks and automation tools for legal research processes.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines that ensure legal compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proficiency with legal research methodologies and tools.
• Experience conducting regulatory analysis and working with compliance frameworks.
• Ability to translate legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
