MEP Draftsman – Experienced AutoCAD Specialist for UAE Projects

About the role

We are looking for highly qualified MEP Draftsmen to produce detailed shop drawings for high‑rise buildings and large‑scale villas in the UAE. The role requires advanced use of AutoCAD 2D to create accurate, coordinated MEP documentation that complies with local codes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver complete MEP shop drawings for high‑rise and villa projects.
• Coordinate MEP layouts with structural and architectural teams to ensure clash‑free designs.
• Apply UAE MEP standards and Dubai municipality codes throughout the drawing process.
• Maintain a high level of speed and accuracy as a power‑user of AutoCAD 2D.
• Manage revisions and updates based on client and consultant feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of MEP drafting experience; senior roles require 10‑15 years.
• Strong portfolio of high‑rise or large‑scale villa projects.
• Deep familiarity with UAE MEP regulations and Dubai municipality codes.
• Excludes civil, structural, oil & gas draftsmen and site technicians.

Required skills

• AutoCAD 2D – advanced, high‑speed drafting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage and electrical systems.
• Multi‑service coordination (MEP, structural, architectural).
• Understanding of UAE MEP standards and Dubai municipality codes.
