MEP Manager – Senior On‑site Leader for Dairy Operations

About the role

The MEP Manager will lead all mechanical, electrical and plumbing functions for a large‑scale dairy farm. This senior, on‑site position ensures continuous operation of milking parlors, cooling systems, power distribution and water networks while supporting the farm’s growth and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain milking parlors, pumps, compressors, motors, ventilation, milk chillers, bulk tanks and cooling systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot breakdowns and supervise feed handling and manure management equipment.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, low‑ and high‑voltage distribution, generators and backup power to guarantee zero downtime.
• Oversee motor control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs) and drive energy‑management and automation projects.
• Manage bore wells, storage tanks, water distribution, pipeline design, installation and maintenance.
• Maintain drainage, waste‑management and leak‑detection programs while ensuring dairy‑grade sanitation standards.
• Lead, mentor and schedule MEP technicians, coordinate with farm management and construction teams, and keep accurate maintenance logs and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of MEP experience in a professional setting, preferably in dairy, agriculture or industrial facilities.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
